Our customers include university-level Japanese language programs, the US Embassy in Japan, and the US Department of State. Our cards are used to train US foreign diplomats whose careers depend on mastering kanji.

Product Review

"White Rabbit Press's kanji flashcards are a step ahead. Above and beyond the standard content, you get six example words rather then the usual four, full definitions, and a look-alike box that alerts you to similar characters all too likely to show up in trick questions in exams. As with all the best educational materials, it's clear here that an enormous amount of work has gone into making the learning process as easy and convenient as possible for the student."

Five stars!

By Tiff

These are some of the best set up cards I have seen on the market. Having something tangible that I can arrange and sort how I want to helps me learn a lot more than kanji books or apps. I even think I've learned more with these than with making my own cards. These cards can take some wear too. I've spilled things on them, even vacuumed one up on accident... and they still look brand new.
The 5 or so commonly used words on the front have also really helped solidify my vocabulary, and the radical names on the back helps me recognize patterns.

I have the first volume of these cards and they're a great tool to study Japanese. Including when they give you the stroke count of each word and when copying it into a notebook makes it easier to learn. I think they're made beautifully and since they're sorted by level it makes it easier to know where to start.

A Learning Imperative!

By Teresa

Shortly after Purchasing the 1 set, I knew I needed Set 2. I was already seeing new Kanji in my workbooks and reading material that were not in Set 1. This set is much bigger than the first so it will get you through a lot of learning before needing Set 3.

If you want to learn and memorize Kanji, these flashcards should be apart of your learning materials. I have learned over 600 Kanji by sight, and their readings in about 4 months (part-time studying). Each week I study a set of 25-40 cards. I review them every morning and place them around the house so I 'stumble' on them throughout the day for extra exposure.
Then I follow up using the Leitner's method.

These cards are excellent quality and very durable as I flip through them constantly and they still look brand new.

exellent product

By baby_alien

After I learnt with volume 1, I learn with volume 2 now. Like the first set of flashcards it is exellent as well. High quality and the same great benefits like the volume 1 e.g. a lot of information about the Kanji, great for learning with card file box system and with the plastic flash card box easy to take with you that you can learn everywhere.
