Welcome to White Rabbit Japan!
This book is designed for Japanese language students with a grasp of basic kanji who want to expand their knowledge and vocabulary. It introduces kanji that are generally taught in an intermediate course (JLPT N3 and N2) and is divided into 6 parts. Part 0 focuses on introducing kanji and how to write them. Parts 1 and 2 cover guessing the reading and meaning of kanji while Part 3 and 4 provide examples of kanji as suffixes and kanji with the same reading. After completing the exercises in Part 1 through 4, you should have an understanding of what to look at in a kanji to make learning new characters and words easier. In Part 5, you can test your new skills using materials close to what you’d find in the real world. There are over 700 practice exercises throughout the book featuring natural-sounding Japanese that one hears in daily life. Exercise sentences are designed to help you study without the aid of a dictionary, though a helpful appendix of vocabulary with English, Korean and Portuguese explanations is included in case you run across any unfamiliar words.
